Treeplanting in the Hahnenkoppel Forest - October 2020

Originally 1000 trees were planned, but thanks to the excellent preparation of the district forester, everything went so easily that we actually planted 1872 beech saplings.What a fulfilling day in the Hahnenkoppel forest near Reinbek! In just a few hours, a Live To Love team, placed the saplings in pre-drilled holes, carefully covered the root balls with earth and pressing it firmly afterwards – all in compliance with the current hygiene and protection safety measures.

We make our district bloom!

Flower meadows and care-bags in Winterhude.
The last weekend was eventful, because we gave care-bags to elder citizens and on Sunday we turned three uncultivated land into flower meadows and new, colorful habitats for insects.

Another biotope for insects - May 2020

Protecting and preserving life by creating new habitats: As part of our Live To Love project "We make our district bloom", we planted another flower meadow for butterflies and insects in Hamburg-Winterhude - very close to the city park, Hamburg's "green lung", as it is affectionately called.
