Live To Love: The 5th courtyard party for the ladies and gentlemen of the Parkheim Foundation - a tribute to all older people!
It was a great honor for all of us that our esteemed friend and top-class violinist, Jansen Folkers, also graced this courtyard party with his finest artistry. In fact, he has just returned from a 3-week tour of Germany with Hamburg singer-songwriter Anna Depenbusch and the Kaiserquartett.
Today, Jansen Folkers played J.S. Bach's Sarabanda from the D minor Solo Partita. In addition, Vuelvo al Sur by Piazzolla, a theme from Cinema Paradiso by Morricone, Mas que Nada by Jorge Ben, Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix and finally the traditional Amazing Grace. Before each musical performance, he vividly described the time of creation and the musicians' motivations for the respective compositions.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Jansen, also for your moving personal words for the Live To Love team! You touched the hearts of everyone present with your wonderful music and made the day unforgettable.
