30 families with their children came to Hamburg Eilbek today to share encounters in the name of respect and love.
Nina from Initiative Nordherz drew our attention to the fact that with today's action we have already been regularly active in the rooms in Eilbek for one year - wow - time has passed so quickly! The war in Ukraine broke out exactly one year and four months ago. After initially initiating acute crisis assistance, we moved on to regular visits for those seeking protection. The monthly care actions and the togetherness are precious - we have met so many great, brave and loving people - all these encounters definitely make life richer!
While the adults addressed the brought requirements, some team members addressed the children with various play activities.
Working with the rainbow swing cloth connected the group in an instant. Everyone is involved in this: Those who hold it and set it in motion, as well as those who lie under it and perceive the colorful sky above them; then those who try to touch the silky cloth or even race the cloth until it lowers again.

In this way, the children can approach playfully and full of exuberance - today with squealing joy and sometimes highly red heads. In addition to motor skills - for the targeted movement of the cloth - above all perception and human social behavior are promoted.
Other children made paper butterflies, which were glued onto clothespins to take home as souvenirs, or they created figures with wooden beads - a way to train fine motor skills. The children also enthusiastically jumped on the brought along costumes to dress up and dive into a creative world where they can try out their skills and characteristics and test out new things for themselves.
