Volunteering with joy and enthusiasm! Visit to the Sol Luna sanctuary
Love is action! Get out of the daily grind and into country life! A day full of heart and energy!
Today we were back at the Sol Luna e.V. sanctuary to help Irmi and her team with the farm work, to be there for the animals - to find out about their current living conditions, to contribute our manpower and to hand over food donations.
Every life counts! Giving animals protection and a voice is of great importance.
At this sanctuary, injured, sick, abandoned and rescued animals not only find a home, but genuine love, care and respect.

Every extra helping hand, every stroke, every kind word, makes a difference at Sol Luna.
It's about giving and receiving, because for our team, working on the farm is a welcome physical activity that boosts our fitness. The life stories of the animals, the worries and hardships of Irmi & team, offer many compassionate insights that make our hearts grow bigger. It simply feels good to be there for each other and to make a contribution across the generations.
Merle, Anke and Dieter's little granddaughter, once again brought us all a lot of joy with her fascination for wheelbarrows and absolutely loved the day!
And so did we!
