World Cleanup Day - The world cleans up!

Wow! Hurray for the kids!
For World Clean Up Day, Live To Love's child ambassadors collected a whopping 100kg of plastic and other litter! Among the hard-working collectors were mainly younger children from the Peter Pan School in Ibbenbüren and the elementary school in Lengerich.

The first view of the beautiful recreation area was deceptive: Bottles, cigarette butts, plastic debris and even an old bicycle were hidden and rotting under bushes, in the forest sections and especially on the bottom as well as on the shore of the lake.

Both the interactive dialogue with the hand puppet "Merle" - the sea shell"- and the environmental quiz found a very lively participation among the children. All of them then searched the forest and bushes near the lake with the greatest zeal and special presence. And also the children on the boats were amazed at how much litter could be found on the lake bottom, much of it only visible at second and third glance.

At the end of the event, the children expressed their great pleasure in doing something for the Earth and were rightly very proud of the result of their enthusiastic efforts. The parents were very pleased that values are passed on to children through the Live To Love actions - and in a way that is easy for children to integrate.

Environmental protection connects!

Environmental protection connects: Young and old had a happy and animated exchange at the end of the successful Clean Up Day.
Our big thanks go to the children and of course to all participants, as well as to the company Westfalenstoffe AG and Coppenrath und Spiegelburg from Münster, who filled the treasure chest, which was lifted at the end of the day, with nice gifts - this meaningful day will be remembered by all of us.

Best regards
