Day of neighbors - sharing joy multiplies happiness!

Sharing joy multiplies happiness!

As last year, we dedicated the "Day of Neighbors" to the fellow people of the Park Home Foundation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our Live To Love - Care activities have intensified our relationships with them through regular visits.
We have learned an indescribable amount about their individual life stories - and how courageous, brave, creative and lively many of the residents live their lives.

Many neighbors arrived. Not only those we know from the encounters at the flower meadows or the Live To Love - Care - Initiative, but also many residents who felt addressed by the invitation to today's courtyard party.

Many were carried away by the joy to see Jansen Folkers again after the successful concert in 2021!
To our great surprise, he arrived with Sophia Heide and Nora Rennau, two colleagues from the L'art de Passage Trio and String Quartet.
Jansen's solo performances and the joint performances with Sophia Heide were a very great gift!

We were treated to this top-notch concert today on the great lawn and under the expansive sky:
Bach, Minuet No. 2 - Brahms Waltzer - Vuelvo as Sur - Sabor a mi, Carillo - Amazing Grace, Traditional - Thais Meditation, Massenet - Imagine, John Lennon - Jammin, Bob Marley - Charles Beriot, Duets for 2 Violins - St. Thomas, S. Rollins - Home is where the Heart is - I am sailing, Improvisation - Rod Stewart.

Music is a universal and invaluable healing form of communication and capable of dissolving unnecessary limitations. The world is sound - and sound heals.
There was devout and respectful listening and equally exuberant dancing. The hours spent together were marked by respect, the joy of living and sincere interest in sharing experiences.

Our neighborhood has a "melody". The melody of the joy of knowing from one another and being there for each other. The concert today, has lifted this "melody" on a sound carpet and taken it on a journey. Thank you very much for the journey through the world music dear Jansen and dear Sophia!

In this sense, we send you all warm greetings

Your Live To Love Team.
