Giving children hope and warmth creates a trusting foundation for the future
It doesn't take much to cause happiness:
Today, under guidance, the youngest shelter seekers from Ukraine made flying balls out of bundles of cloth with colorful crepe ribbons.
Afterwards, they tried them out during the song "Rainbow Dances" with very individual, imaginative movement frequencies.
Some children played and romped with a large air-rubber ball - painted or explored various game donations.
A lot of creativity, a natural joy of expression and liveliness colorfully characterized this afternoon.
Nine new families arrived today for the first time at the Live To Love Care activity for pregnant women, mothers and children.
We also met more than 20 familiar people, all of whom were just as excited - as we were - to meet again.
We heard from Nina that many young mothers have currently gone on temporary "vacation" to relatively safe areas of Ukraine to finally see their husbands again after months.
However, they plan to return to Hamburg shortly.

We wish all women and children - whether in Hamburg or Ukraine a peaceful summer time.
Your beautiful laughter, which we were able to experience today, will accompany us for a long time - we are already looking forward to the next Care Ukraine activity!
With warm greetings
