Great surprises for Santa Claus

What do Live To Love and Santa Claus have in common?
A heart for lonely or challenged people and children! That's why Santa Claus made a flying visit to the mothers' and children's homes in Hörstel and Ibbenbüren this year as part of the Live To Love CARE initiative.
"I'd love to be Santa Claus and give everyone a present. I'll bring a sack full of joy to your house, because today I'm Santa Claus for you." For the children, a dream came true - until now only known from stories and picture books, he now stood before them in the flesh with a large sack full of gifts. While some greeted him courageously and with shining eyes, others preferred to stay in the background with great respect.
Cuddly animals, glitter pictures, books, baby hats, hot water bottles, sweets and the special goodie of this afternoon: Cookie dough to bake yourself - packed in jars as a greeting from the angels. A wonderful occasion to bake cookies in the Advent season, to enjoy time together, to exchange ideas and to help with words and deeds in challenging situations.
In Hamburg, the CARE team again distributed Advent calendars for the Senior:Innen to bring a little good cheer to another time of isolation and loneliness. We received many moving thank-you notes: From "heartwarming" - and "unwrapping a little peace and joy every day" - to silent tears of joy.
Give
Giving a little something every day - how happy every day could be! To all the donors of the loving gifts and the team of the Mothers-Child Home, thank you very much for the warm hospitality and your great work!
