Lively Nature Experiences

A week-long field trip with Live To Love.

"To love nature is to go out and understand nature, to appreciate it and educate ourselves about it."
The Gyalwang Drukpa

The Live To Love Germany team went on a week-long field trip to a nature reserve near Hamburg, Germany.

Since we are very much concerned with the consequences of climate change, tree death and deforestation, an area was deliberately chosen where the forest is still pristine and largely spared from the effects of climate change. There are many lakes and enough water here - the "rich" green tones of the leaves bear witness to this and there is hardly any visible damage from the drought in this area.

Amidst tall trees, some of which count hundreds of years, we have honored the sounds of the forest, the singing of birds and the rich treasures of nature, experiencing and studying the signatures and interdependencies of the forest with all our senses.

Nature in its pristine state is an open-air school - just engaging in, looking and listening, leads us humans back to our own nature.

Hiking and living in the forest was very strengthening and fulfilling and we are moving forward with joy to implement all further plans.
The next tree planting
By the way: On August 21st we will plant more trees - this time in Hamburg-Osdorf!

Sincerely,
Your Live To Love Team
